Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy Consultation towards Certification
Are you interested in strengthening your couples therapy skills?
As a Supervisior Candidate, I offer Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) Supervision. EFCT is the most empirically supported treatment in helping distressed couples build strong, secure bonds. It provides a uniquely humanistic, attachment-focused lens that goes right to the heart of the matter.
The aim will be to:
Strengthen your skills in the EFCT model through didactics, guidance, and feedback on clinical case examples.
Track your couple’s negative cycles: help couples track and understand their cycles from an attachment lens & unite them in fighting against the cycle to achieve deeper connection.
Provide hours of supervision to support EFCT certification for eligible clinicians.
In addition to teaching EFCT, I am skilled in integrating this model with Sex Therapy, Neurodiversity, and Trauma.
EMDR Consultation towards Certification
I offer consultation to EMDR-trained clinicians working towards EMDR certification and those wishing to fine tune their utilization of the therapy. Consultation sessions are an open, supportive, and collaborative approach so you can enhance your clinical strengths. I understand both the benefits and challenges of using EMDR therapy, and I am excited in helping EMDR-trained therapists to work through those challenges and practice effectively.
I am currently on the staff training team at Sonoma Psychotherapy Training Institute.
